Standard-mode indexing rate
Published · By IndexChex
In brief
Standard-mode indexing rate is the share of URLs submitted in IndexChex standard mode that end up in Google's index. IndexChex's weekly measurement on recurring URL sets reports 85%+ for typical sites, links and citations as of October 2026, at 1 credit per URL, or $0.0014 to $0.0044 per submitted URL.
What the number means
Standard mode is the default, low-cost way to submit URLs to IndexChex. The weekly benchmark reports that 85%+ of standard submissions are indexed for typical sites, links and citations. It is an end-state rate: the share indexed once the job has had time to settle, not the share indexed at a fixed early moment. The exact definition is in the benchmark methodology.
"Typical" is a deliberate qualifier. A URL set that includes pages no tool can get indexed, such as those carrying noindex, blocked in robots.txt, canonicalised to another URL, or near-duplicates of existing pages, will index below it.
Timeline behind the rate
According to product documentation, a standard job runs like this:
- Googlebot crawls submitted URLs within minutes; the measured average to first crawl is under 2 minutes (details).
- The job completes within 24 hours.
- Pages start to be indexed 5 to 12 hours after the job completes.
- Most indexed URLs appear 24 to 48 hours after the crawl.
- Indexing is typically as complete as it will get by day 5.
Checking before day 5 will usually understate the final rate. The full sequence is laid out on the indexing timeline.
What drives it
The gap between 85%+ and the near-complete crawl is Google's quality decision. Pages most likely to fall out are thin pages, pages on hosts with a history of low-value content, pages that duplicate syndicated text, and pages whose canonical points elsewhere. In Search Console those often show up as "Crawled, currently not indexed". Causes are expanded on why indexing rates vary.
Cost per indexed URL
IndexChex prices per submitted URL. Standard submission costs 1 credit, which ranges from $0.0014 (Enterprise pack, $1,399.99 for 1,000,000 credits) to $0.0044 (Starter pack, $21.99 for 5,000 credits).
| Credit source | Per submitted URL | Divided by 0.85 | Per indexed URL |
|---|---|---|---|
| Enterprise pack | $0.0014 | $0.0014 / 0.85 | $0.0016 |
| Starter pack | $0.0044 | $0.0044 / 0.85 | $0.0052 |
Since 85%+ is a floor on the average, the real cost per indexed URL for typical batches should be at or below these values. Pages that cannot be indexed raise it, because they cost a credit and never count.
Compared with vendor-published claims
These are statements published by other vendors about their own services, checked on 2026-10-08. They are not tests.
| Vendor | Published price per URL | Pricing basis | Published rate statement |
|---|---|---|---|
| Rapid URL Indexer | $0.04 to $0.05 | Credits auto-refunded for links not indexed after 14 days | 91% average indexing rate |
| IndexMeNow | See source | Full refund if not indexed after 10 days | 80% in 72 hours on average |

Because refund-based vendors only keep payment for indexed links, their per-URL price is effectively a price per indexed URL. The fair comparison for IndexChex is therefore the per-indexed column above, not the per-submitted price. A wider list of statements, with bases, is on vendor-published indexing claims.
Practical reading
For a batch of 1,000 typical backlinks, the benchmark implies roughly 850 or more indexed by about day 5, at a credit cost of 1,000. A check at that point identifies the misses, which can then be resubmitted or investigated.
FAQ
What counts as a typical site, link or citation?
An ordinary indexable page: guest posts, business citations, profiles and similar pages that are not blocked, noindexed, duplicated or empty. Pages Google would refuse under any submission method will index below the average with any tool.
When should I check standard-mode results?
Product documentation says most indexed URLs appear 24 to 48 hours after the crawl and indexing is usually as complete as it will get by day 5. A check at day 5 reflects the end state.
Are unindexed standard URLs refunded?
No. IndexChex charges per submitted URL and guarantees the crawl, not the indexation.
