This observatory exists to publish measured results for one product, IndexChex, which is also the publisher. Every figure on the site describes IndexChex features measured by IndexChex. The product's own site is indexchex.com; this page covers the parts of it that the weekly indexing benchmark measures.

What is measured

All four are averages from weekly measurement on recurring URL sets. Definitions are on the methodology page.

How it verifies

The index checker queries live Google results with four forms of each URL: the bare URL, the quoted URL, site: and inurl:. A hit on any form marks the URL indexed. A submission can schedule a re-check 1 to 5 days later at 1 credit per URL, reserved up front and refunded if cancelled. URLs that come back not indexed can be sent to a new submission in one click. Drip feed (1 to 30 days, up to 25,000 URLs) cannot be combined with a scheduled re-check on the same job.

Pricing as it relates to the data

Credits are sold as monthly plans (Starter $19.99 for 5,000; Growth $49.99 for 25,000; Scale $149.99 for 100,000) or one-time packs (Starter $21.99 for 5,000; Growth $54.99 for 25,000; Scale $164.99 for 100,000; Enterprise $1,399.99 for 1,000,000). A standard submission therefore costs $0.0014 to $0.0044 per submitted URL, and an instant submission roughly $0.084 to $0.26. IndexChex charges per submitted URL, not per indexed URL. The cost per indexed URL that follows from the measured rates is worked out on the standard-mode and instant-mode pages.

Pack credits do not expire while the account is active. Subscription credits roll over up to twice the monthly allotment and are forfeited when the subscription ends. There is no free trial.

Limits stated by the product

• IndexChex guarantees Googlebot crawling, not indexing.
• It does not use Google's Indexing API, which Google limits to job-posting and livestream pages.
• It states that its methods do not connect submitted URLs to spam networks or link pyramids.
• It cannot make an unindexable page indexable. Noindex, robots.txt blocks, non-self canonicals and thin content are outside any indexer's control, as covered in why indexing rates vary.

Interface

IndexChex is used through a web dashboard or a REST API. API v2 mirrors SpeedyIndex's schema so existing integrations can switch by changing the base URL. Contact is support@indexchex.com. A fuller entity description is kept on the reference wiki.
